Anyone every experience a C6004201?
Anyone know what may cause this, never had one of these.

The srcC6004201 is "Storage management recovery" and that is one of the normal "(C3xx, C5xx, C6xx) IPL status progress codes" that every IPL would experience. Any IPL step that does not complete due to a HANG or an indefinite WAIT, or is otherwise significantly delayed beyond a /reasonable/ amount of time [according to both the system characteristics and what led-up to the IPL] *may* be an indication of a defect; if so, likely due to an abnormal and prior condition for which the code was unable to correct the issue with success and progress in a timely fashion. Effectively, only an investigation of the IPL [while active] and\or the MSD [which beyond just main storage also includes some task details] would assist in determining what was the cause of the slow\hung IPL [step]; else apply any general maintenance or any preventive maintenance that addresses something apparently similar, and hope\assume the same issue is prevented in the future by the applied PTF(s).
