Isn't this why we never mix SSDs and Spinny disk in the same drawer so that they are not on the same SAS Ports?

Well, I would say it depends on your performance needs. I/Os
for the SSDs can queue up behind I/Os for the 48 HDDs. Because
of this, best practice recommendation is to isolate the SSDs to
their own adapter pair or be prepared to isolate them.
