RE: disk is approaching 90%. Any utilities to identify files which could be deleted?

RTVDSKINF is paramount. After that is done then you can run PRTDSKINF
*SYS. On most of our lpars anything anyone tells you like "delete old
spool files", "IPL to clean up space" and other stuff they may remember
from back on AS/400s (a precursor to IBM i) would be like trying to sip
suck Lake Superior dry.
There are also some nice parameters on PRTDSKINF *LIB. Prompt it, sort by
size, pick a huge minimum size and go from there.
Do NOT ignore "user directories"! Unless, of course, on your system they
are such a minor percentage.
