Rob,
I did find simple way to see any new PTFs.
Recommended fixes, Preventive Service Planning - PSP, PTF Cover Letters, All PTF Cover Letters by Date.

SF99711 sounds nice. Thank you.
On your second part, maybe it would be better if the people who publish "recommended PTFs" upgraded them into the related group ptf (if any) and were allowed to release that particular group ptf more often. Oh well, I'd rather have to deal with "recommended PTFs" then not to know about them unless I was willing to take the mind numbing task of browsing each individual PTF out there.

V7R1 SNDPTFORD New option - SF99711 - 710 All PTF Groups except Cumulative
PTF Package
This has greatly simplified the PTF order process, works nice, has anyone
tried this yet.
Still need an option for important PTF topics/areas not part of a group
and/or CUM, (ie, SSD, Telnet, SMTP, etc)
Thank You
