Right click on the Alias name and look at the properties. In particular, look at schema load and cache settings. Mine behaved the way you describe until I fiddled with the settings. Don't know exactly what I did. Now I look at the objects tab after making connection and all the libraries are listed and under each library all the tables, views, etc. Click on a table and you get gobs of tabs opened with info, contents, and more.

Subject: Squirrel not showing list of tables

I'm trying out Squirrel - I'm probably miscasting an entity relationship
into what I want - mapping between input and output files in RPG.

Anyhow, I installed Squirrel - I'm on 64-bit Win7. It's the latest
Squirrel - 3.5.0. I did install the optional DB2 plugin, as recommended
by Thomas Snyder in an article from a while ago at MC Press online.

I made a driver for JT400 - and an alias for our development (7.1) LPAR.

The schemas are all listed - not just the one I named in the connection
string.

When I click on the thingy next to a schema, it opens to a list of
object types - TABLE, VIEW, etc.

When I click on the thingy next to TABLE, nothing.

I've done a little digging - there was apparently an issue with DB2
databases at 3.4.0 of Squirrel - shouldn't they have fixed it for the
later release?

So I assume there's something awry with me. No comments!
