Re: ADDNWSSTGL vs 17 drives

Uncharacteristic of IBM I think. Having just done this last week (and 
now that drive is 'stranded' until next maintenance window) this seems 
like something very useful! I have also submitted this as a requirement 
to the CAAC at COMMON.

There already is a Validity Checking program in place for ADDNWSSTGL and 
I'm guessing replacing that would take some effort for us to make our own.
