Well, if someone at the LUG meeting could ask IBM when the FUTURE site at
http://www-947.ibm.com/systems/support/i/planning/upgrade/future.html
would have FUTURE information and not ancient history like "the release
after 6.1" I would really appreciate it. My God, 7.1 has been out for
years now!
I remember when this site was useful and would tell you stuff like:
- IBM intends that current release of the OS, x.y, will be the last
version to support Domino a.b and customers should upgrade to Domino a.c
or higher.
- The release after x.y will no longer support Java version(s) d.e and
customers should upgrade to g.h or higher.
- hardware units abcd, efgh, and ewrt will not be supported on the release
after x.y and customers should consider replacing these units

Seriously! People are trying to budget for next year and knowing this
will really help. Is IBM so cash flush they have no interest in selling
services to upgrade people on Domino and other items? Do they really want
to hold people off for another year so maybe they can get it in their
budget for 2015?
