No, we are not paying for the rugged case and assemblies on the printers but do have for our guns. We currently use in the warehouse and the pickers can either attach to their belt or to the actual picker. They are easy to use and easy for WH personnel to change ribbon/labels. We have had almost a year and have not had 1 sent off for repair. Currently have 25 in use.
Not familiar with the Zebra MZ-220 device, but purchase one an test out. Can you get service on this device?

Thanks for the input.
These look like they are $900-1200 apiece.
Are you paying for the rugged case and assemblies ?
We're going to be using inexpensive $300 Windows 8 Tablets.
There's a Zebra MZ-220 that looks interesting for $149

We currently use Zebra QL 420 mobile printers with blue tooth access to Motorola MC9090 RF guns.
They work wonderfully for us.

Anyone have opinions on which thermal printer devices are best to use with mobile devices ?
The Epson T88V printers look interesting.
These will be used as receipt printers for delivery drivers who will most likely connect to them via Bluetooth or Wifi.
