Hi Franco

without referring to the docs, based on other WebSphere stuff I have done I
would:try changing to the subdirectory where the uninstall commands resides
before running it.

So something like the following commands::

STRQSH
/qibm/proddata/WebSphere/appserver/v8/express/bin
./uninstall: 001-0014

not sure if the 001-0014 are parameters you are entering or not but I've
added the anyway. Note I have just copied the directory you were using; it
might pay to check it is correct.

I think it is failing because the directory that the uninstall script is in
is not the current directory.

Hope this helps

Hi all,

I'd like to know how to completely remove Websphere 8 Express from my V7R1
box.

I tried to run /qibm/proddata/WebSphere/appserver/v8/express/bin/uninstall
from QSH, but I get this error message:

/qibm/proddata/WebSphere/appserver/v8/express/bin/uninstall: 001-0014
Command /qibm/proddata/WebSphere/appserver/v8/express/uninstall/uninstall
not found.

Thanks in advance.

Bye

Franco
