Trouble is, I had both of them - but an older version, I think - they both showed up in Add/remove (whatever the win7 name is!)

Still, I did go out and get the latest and greatest, and now it worked.

Now I think that new HP Elitebook laptop has a hardware problem - repeated short beeps as in POST!

Sigh! They'll have to pry the 32-bit Win7 on ThinkPad outta my hands!

Correct AND it says that in the documentation BUT having made this

version on 64 bit O/S.

Hi

Our sys admin just applied PTF SI49800 to our system, and I'm trying to
update Access on my laptop - 64-bit Win 7 Enterprise SP1.

I get this dialog box -

IBM i Access for windows 7.1 Installer Information

An update is required to continue with this install. Refer to the
following link for details and instructions:

http://www-03.ibm.com/systems/i/software/access/windows/casp.html

I sort of figured this had to do with the VC++ Redistributable, and it
was - thought I'd already put on the latest, but apparently not.

I just wish that link were clickable - it's not - very unhandy!

Just ranting on a Friday!
