Why not? My view is that the number of people supporting the Rochester
platform is a fraction of what it was during COMMON's heydays. When you
factor in the economy, outsourcing, and the costs of attending, it's no
surprise.
COMMON doesn't advertise its paid attendance, but I seem to recall an
article stating that the attendance at Austin was down around where it was
30 plus years ago.
