The "CALL FOR SERVICE" went away. Powered unit off and on. Self test
reported nothing.

Those units are so old that when i have a problem with one of them i end up
directly replacing the entire ACF or Tape Drive...

So, I called in.

The CE who arrived said he had little experience with this unit.

He wprked his way through the trouble tree in the manual. Together, we
loaded and unloaded a tape and ran DSPTAP. All worked well.

Nothing in WRKPRB or SST.

Any thoughts?
