I should have been more specific: I'm running green-screen only, v6r1. Just wondering if there's a compile option, or strdbg parm or something that will cut those out.

I'll bet it does: that's how all the slick GUI analytical tools for SQL
work -- by running queries in the debugger.

No idea how to stop it, though.
