The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
First some context. We are using a tool to monitor our infrastructure and to send alert when something goes wrong. This tool mostly use SNMP to get it's information.
I want it to, among other thing, check the disk space used on our different LPAR and send alert (email or sms) when we reach certain thresholds.
I found the appropriate MIB and configured our tool. I tripled check the community string, the SNMP server is running on all partitions. But, on some partition, no data is returned for the MIB concerning disk space.
I use a MIB browser to test and I notices that, for those LPAR, I could get basic information (system name ...) but it did not recognize the MIB i am interested in!
This is a problem only for a few of our LPAR.
I ran out of idea on what to check.
Any help will be appreciated.
