A new search engine is coming soon.

As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.




Was your RPG program reading from one or more other tables when it was
populating this new table or was it doing something like
for x = 1 to 1000000;
write record;
end;

But that is just picking nits. I am sure that DB2 on IBM i on modern
Power equipment, appropriately sized and configured, can handle this. I
think Deiter did a better job of answering your question.
