I tried googling HBOC software. Real users were quite mad. There was an
article about the former chairman getting sentenced to 10 years for
financial irregularities.
HBOC is now owned by McKesson.
There is a hospital name and IT person named here

Subject: Software Vendor support
Sent by: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx
I think I beat the PTF question into the dirt. I have no idea if anybody
can answer this question, but, definitely worth a shot:
I work in a hospital. System on the way out, at an unspecified date (so
far) runs software from HBOC - specific product is Series. May or may not
be a number after that word. My boss still has no access to support. He
is fighting the battle. Simple (?) question:
Does anybody know if HBOC is doing something that precludes running on
7.1?
