I'm dismayed, but not surprised, to hear of SYSDUMMY1 being treated in this fashion by IBM...which begs the question...
What is "best practice" concerning the use of SYSDUMMY1?
It's quite useful in duplicating the SETLL/SETGT op-code in RPG and it is used frequently in our code for this reason.
