Length is only enforced when the password is changed via CHGPWD or the GUI
interfaces. It is not enforced when the user signs on, nor via CHGUSRPRF.

Phasing in:
You could:
- CHGUSRPRF PWDEXP(*YES) STATUS(*SAME) PWDEXPITV(...). But you'll have to
set that individually because one person may be years and one may be 93
days.
- CHGUSRPRF PWDEXP(*YES) several people and force them to change password
at next signon. Leave the PWDEXPITV alone.
- Install something that syncs their IBM i accounts to their Windows
account. We use Tivoli Identity Manager.

Most of the QPWD* system values are deprecated in favor of system value
QPWDRULES. As part of QPWDRULES see *DGTMINn. If you want to require at
least one digit use *DGTMIN1. See also: *REQANY3, *SPCCHRMINn
If you're stuck on some expired version of the OS then use this as another
excuse to upgrade. Failing that you can roll your own with QPWDVLDPGM.

Count down to end of support for V5R4: 48 days.
