A6xx 0255 is a nice code... it means: "Lost contact with DASD, would you
kindly get it back?". That code is one of the things i love about this
platform, any other OS would crap out when losing a disk, IBM i? holds
everything until the DASD come back. AMAZING! of couse, it works as long as
the user isnt a complete moron and attempts to do an IPL thereby wrecking
thousands of objects due to forcing me to do a "Reclaim IOA cache" (i'm in
the middle of a restore thanks to that)
Can you access that LPAR? try to see if there were any power issues at the
same time, maybe someone unplugged a fiber cable or the power cables for an
expansion drawer?
I would assume a Hardware ticket, since A600 is LIC and almost always a
hardware matter.
