Doesn't elaborate if that's because of their X86 market or the Power market not making ends meet. Would be interesting to know.
I know they have been trying to sell the X86 server market to Lenovo like they did with their desktop PC brands. This is perhaps due to razor thin profit margins on servers you can get cheaper from Dell/HP.
Their thinking might be why sell X86 stuff with its extremely low profit margins, when you can sell proprietary stuff with huge sticker prices and much larger profit margins to those companies that are oblivious of cost.
