Re: why so many code pages?

just my attempt at a joke. If anyone does any AFPDS printer programming I
could use the help.

Is a font resource code page the same as a character set code page? When
you
WRKFNTRSC FNTRSC(QFNTCPL/*ALL) OBJATR(CDEPAG)
there are a lot of code pages listed.

T1SKB001 QFNTCPL CDEPAG KEYBOARD 1 - U.S. STANDARD
T1SKB002 QFNTCPL CDEPAG KEYBOARD 2 - U.S. STANDARD
T1SKB003 QFNTCPL CDEPAG KEYBOARD 3 - U.S. STANDARD
T1SKB004 QFNTCPL CDEPAG KEYBOARD 4 - U.S. STANDARD

I know there are many code pages for different character sets. But why so
many for US character sets? And why on the FNTCHRSET keyword are
there resources and code pages? ( which probably does not matter to me now
since I am using FONT number, but still curious to know why there is a
FNTCHRSET in addition to a FONT keyword. )

Pat helped with the Font number. 2304 and 2305 seem to work ok. 2305
being the bold version of 2304.
