Your answers explain why my Console session is limited to 80 columns!
All of our users' IBM I Access for Windows are device type 3477, and
therefore, F22 function key is available in SQL results window to toggle
between 80-column and 132-column format.
However, my HMC console device DSP01 is a 3179 device, thus limiting its
STRSQL display to 80 columns
I will ask my IBM tech support to clarify whether my HMC display DSP01
can be device type 3477 also, instead of 3179. IBM I Access for Windows
is at:
Version 7 Release 1, Modification level 0, Service level SI 45664
