Thank Rob. We've narrowed it down to it only failing when the SQL is part of a web page. I works when you use System i Nav SQL scripts ( I did not know that when I posted it, just tried it ) and Squirrel.

I suspect we have an issue with the SQL interface in the web server at this point.

This works:

That was concatenating the numerics.
