Is PSATTLER a directory in the IFS? If so, then you should have TOSTMF('/PSATTLER/myfile.pdf') or whatever you want to name the file. With that change the commands work for me but I am at V7R1.

Subject: OVRPRTF to PDF

I set up PSATTLER as the IFS directory.

I entered the following commands.
OVRPRTF FILE(QPRTLIBL) DEVTYPE(*AFPDS) TOSTMF('/PSATTLER') WSCST(*PDF)
OVRSCOPE(*JOB)
DSPLIBL *PRINT

Instead of creating the .pdf file, I received the following message: File QPRTLIBL in library QSYS member or device *N not opened.

I also tried OVRPRTF FILE(QPRTLIBL) DEVTYPE(*AFPDS) TOSTMF('/PSATTLER')
WSCST(*QSYS/QCTXPDF) OVRSCOPE(*JOB) with the same result.

I tried a similar OVRPRTF command with a working program and got a similar message that stated that the printer file was not open.

I've checked that the Portable Application Solutions Environment (PASE) and the IBM(r) Transform Services for i5/OS(r) licensed program (5761-TS1) are installed.
