Anyone familiar with the Row Change Timestamp of DB2?
(like the following SQL )
Can it be done with DDS & RPG?
i.e
a. Can one define a Row Change Timestamp field using DDS?
b. Does RPG's Write or Update cause this Row Change Timestamp to be
updated?
CREATE TABLE orders(ordID INTEGER PRIMARY KEY,
ordCust INTEGER,
ordStatus CHAR(1),
ordOrig TIMESTAMP NOT NULL
DEFAULT CURRENT TIMESTAMP,
ordLChg TIMESTAMP NOT NULL
FOR EACH ROW ON UPDATE
AS ROW CHANGE TIMESTAMP);
