I used System i Nav to create a new directory on the IFS, but when I tried to create two
additional directories under the new dir, I was not able to.
I have been able to do this several times in the past.
The new dir is an addition to another dir that already existed within
the parent dir we use to support a warehouse app. Like the existing
dir, the new dir requires two sub-dirs:
warehouseA
pickarea1
open
complete
pickarea2 (the additional directory)
open
complete
when I right-clicked new dir "pickarea2", the menu did not include
New folder...
Delete...
Rename...
???
Finally used MKDIR to add sub-dirs "open" and "complete" under pickarea2
System Admin has no idea why - we are on V7R1M0
