OP,
If you want to store your select statement and rerun it upon a periodic
basis there are a few things you can do. One option is to take said
source member and run CRTQMQRY against it to 'compile' it. After it is
'compiled' then you can execute the created object with STRQMQRY.

Another option is to create a temporary table. Wrap your existing
statement with this
create table mylib.mytable as(
... your existing statement here ...
)
Then you can query that temporary table.
