Does the table already contain data? If not, delete the column and
re-add. iNav allows you to change the system name, but I bet you think
that's like kissing your sister.

The reach around is to run something like this:
create table newtable as (select colA as newcolumn, colb, colc, cold,
cole... from oldtable)
drop oldtable
rename

Experience has shown me that most people really don't care to figure out
why - they just want things to work the way they want them too. That
mentality is not always a bad thing.
