Is ldapsearch part of qsh or pase or is there an install needed ?

Eric - it's pretty easy - you have to specify an IP address for the
ActDir server, then some search criteria - basically a list of the data
you want to get back.

I'm not on my work system, but can send you a sample if you like, next week.
