CA is supported + or - 2 releases.

There is a known issue with IBM I Access Service Level S147412. This does not affect the service packs prior to that. The fix from IBM will be made available in next IBM i Access for Windows service pack which is planned for June 30th 2013. You can read about it here:

Hi Folks, my pc is at Win7, my OS4 is V6R1 and I'm currently running V6R1 of IBM System i Access for Windows at V6R1 SI42423...can I install the V7R1 version of System i Access for Windows to my V6R1 OS? Is that a common thing to do and are there any issues caused by doing that?
