The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
I like using it for checking for locks on stream file objects.
I like using it for configuring shares to stream file directories.
I'll use it for getting the sum of sizes of a directory but that can take
awhile.
I used to like it for being able to sort by size, date, etc in a directory
but since I found that if I use EDTF '/mydirectory' (yes that's on a
directory and not on a file) I can then sort by any column displayed. I
kind of prefer that. That EDTF is the same as using option 2 to edit in
WRKLNK. The edit also gives you an option for recursive delete which
regular WRKLNK doesn't have.
Our BOFH, who I thought I was going to have to wrestle her 3180 terminal
out of her cold dead hands, much prefers the iNav interface over WRKLNK.
I've only been here 26 years. I'm still the newcomer on the block
compared to her (40 years).
