Brad,

There are a bunch of ways things can go wrong. However I don't agree that
the DMZ server has to be some disposable item. A lpar on your IBM i is
sufficient. We only run a smattering of Domino servers on ours. Actually
we have three power 6's, each with one dmz lpar. We run some web serving,
smtp mail serving, ftp site, sftp site, etc on ours. Our main web site -
home of the flaming logos - is hosted elsewhere.
