Doesn't the VIOS require some portion of a CPU to be dedicated? Not to imply that means more CPU is required, just that the portion of the CPU dedicated to elsewhere is therefore never available to the IBM i, even when the owner of that partition of the CPU is idle. I believe a dedicated portion of memory also may be required by VIOS.?
