Maybe I'm the only one - but I have also had problems with gmail (apparently) randomly blocking certain sending messages as originating from an address identified as a spammer. Had a case recently where email 1 was never received. From/To addresses unchanged I sent another email saying "did you get this" - that one got through - the other party responded - I replied (same from address) - blocked again. Gmail's response could best be summed up as "Hmmm - wonder how that happened".

I have my own mail server, but also use a few gmail addresses. I'm
very careful about who gets them so I always create a filter saying
that any sender with an @ in the email address (which would be *every*
sender) is to not be marked as spam. Yet I still have incoming email
that gets marked as spam.

I haven't bother to contact Gmail about it. You get what you pay for.
