RE: Replacing a LAN console

Rob is right; you need more than one device (PC) with LAN console ability,
and it isn't necessary to IPL the System i to do this or to set it to
dedicated mode.

Personally I have a very bad memory so I documented all of the steps. If
you need/want copies, email me off-list.
