I suggest that this is why IBM delivers jobq QUSRNOMAX in subsystem QUSRWRK which I use for just such purposes.

Subject: subsystem.
Hi All,
I want to run some particular jobs under a subsystem. The requirement is the jobs shouldn't wait for a longer time in QBATCH or some other.
Instead I want to set up new subsystem, job queue and run some set of jobs in subsystem. So that the jobs will be processed with any delay.
can some one please advise.
Thanks in advance.
John
