Subject: WRKOBJLCK Attributes

Sorry, this may be a silly question...I have searched the lists here and also Googled looking for an answer without much success.

I am wondering if there is a way to access the attributes for WRKOBJLCK directly or do I have to output results to a spool file then copy to physical file to parse it?

What I am trying to do (just in case anyone knows of a better way to handle
it) is figure out if a particular file has a lock on it. If so, send break message to the user warning them they have a set amount of time to exit the system.
If they have not signed off in the set amount of time, then I want to end their job.

Thank you for any input you might have.
