Be aware, it is very slow to boot from. It takes about 45 minutes to
boot up the lic. USB 2.0 drivers are normally used but IBM uses USB
1.0 drivers using it as a boot device. I have discussed this with
development and they have no plans at this time to support USB 2.0
drivers at IPL time.

The device shows as RMS01 and yes you can do a plain SAVLIB or SAVOBJ to it.
