Jeff,How about when an email is generated and sent within an RPG or CL program
The command itself allows you to use a userid and password on each
command. There's no global setup for it like CHGSMTPA (although you can
use CHGCMDDFT to change the defaults of the parms to act similarily)
and you want the return address to be the email address of whoever is the
user at the time? We have various programs that automatically generate
emails to employees or customers. It would be nice if the return email
address was the actual email address of the user running the program that
generated the email. Unless I misunderstand, it does not sound like
MAILTOOL does that either.
