That's correct.

But, if you need a free sftp client that supports ccsid conversions and also supports sending directly from PFs and SAVFs you can download a copy from our web site: www.arpeggiosoftware.com. It's a native sftp client (no PASE, no Java) with all the tools you need to script even the most complicated ftp transfer. And did I mention it was free :)
