Here is what pgmrs have done here in the past:

Group NIGHTLY01 was created with the following command list:
jobA
jobB
jobC

This group NIGHTLY01 was set up to be initiated when job DAILYBACKUP completed.

The problem is that next someone set up a MONTHEND group. When that completes, we want to run the SAME NIGHTLY01 group.

Pgmrs here think that the only way to do this is set up a duplicate jobA, jobB, jobC group and have that dependent on MONTHEND completing.

Now there are TWO identical groups to maintain - instead of just one.

Is it possible in AJS to have ONE group dependent (and therefore initiated) when EITHER group NIGHTLY01 OR MONTHEND complete?

They tell me here that if this is set up in AJS, then BOTH the groups would have to complete to initiate the job, which never occurs.

Thanks
