I've got a couple of machines running a large partition with several
hosted (guest) partitions on each. Each machine is managed by it's own
HMC.
I know I can easily save and restore the NWSDs and Storage Spaces
between systems if I want to move a guest from one system to another,
but is there an equally simple way of moving the partition
configurations from one HMC to another, other than say the system
plan (which has had mixed results for me over the years) ?
I'm wondering if I can get a text file export that can be imported
onto another HMC and maybe used to assist with documentation as well.
This would be possibly useful for DR as well.
How do others do this ? T
