Along the lines of Alan's reply, I think there is a place for multiple modules in either a service program or a program.

One scenario is single sign-on stuff - it might be useful to include a module for EIM processing with a module for encryption. Or it might not - the design of an application should be the final determinant.

One thing about ILE - it can mean we have to be more careful about our designs!
