I am trying to determine whether domain search list is meaningless. I
suspect it is. Look at the cover letter for SI30551. I followed the
instructions there (with some special instructions from IBM to change the
CCSID to 00819 and the *LF of the file by using F15 in EDTF). And now I
can PING, DIG and NSLOOKUP. Keeping in mind that DIG does have a use
domain search list parameter.
I updated my pmr and asked IBM if I have to do this then what's the point
of domain search list on CHGTCPDMN.
Still waiting for that reply...
