Not sure what you are looking for or what your experience
looks like but I know our company is looking for someone for
two different projects.
1) Add the ability to respond to System Messages remotely
(without 5250) Our MessageFlex software currently sends
notifications of system errors
Via Text or email. Some customers want the ability to reply
to the message from their phone.
2) Modify our eMail programs (does not use IBM SMTP) to
allow sending email to gmail accounts using Secure Sockets
Layer (SSL/TLS) with SMTP

Any of this can be programmed remotely
