I don't know JDE, but have familiarity with QZDASOINIT jobs.
QZDASOINIT is the database host server job. How long they are active depends on how they are used.
If the client application uses a connection pool, they will be used for a while and probably discarded after a period of time.
If the client application doesn't use a connection pool, the job could remain active for quite a while.
