I was able to set up an ODBC connection (via iSeries Access Administrator) to pull data from a file into an Excel spreadsheet. That works fine. But when I attempt to use the same connection (even within the same spreadsheet) to pull data into Microsoft's PowerPivot Excel add-in, it displays an error saying that the provider is not specified. Any idea what the cause could be? TIA.
