The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

How many network storage spaces, of what size, should a 1.7TB guest lpar
have?
From my testing, if you don't have at least 6 NWSSTGs, save/restore
will be really crappy .... to the tune of 2x longer for save/restore
tasks when there are 1-5 NWSSTGs compared to save/restore with 6 or or
more NWSSTGs.
All NWSSTGs should be of similar size. No need to try to make them a
size similar to a real drive. However, in your case 1.7TB is equivalent
to 6x 283GB NWSSTGs .... so you can size them similarly to "real" drives.
