A minor correction...

It's impossible to "delete SQL" from the system...as it's built into the DB.

You may not have had the STRSQL command, or the ability to compile
SQLRPGLE...but believe me, the system could still do SQL.

Actually, I'd be willing to bet money that there were one or two ways for
you to run SQL yourself.
