I did a Google search using just the words "GUID" and "format".

I don't know if this is the same information you are needing, but the
start of the wiki describes the format.

Is this what you are needing, or is GUID referring to something else?
I ask, only because I don't know.

I am googling "GUID format AS400" and even though its mentioned all over the place, I am having trouble in locating how to store this data (maximum size etc. ) on the as400 as this parameter will be needed elsewhere.
